Wii would like to play???

Ok so the holidays are here and the shopping has begun. Currently, there is an ongoing search for the elusive Wii console, which I'm starting to believe doesn't exist. It kinda reminds me of those Bigfoot or Loch Ness Monster sightings that people claim:

Yeah I was picking up some Old Spice at the WalMart when I spotted one of them Wiis...
End attempt at being funny XDD

Luckily, we have a hookup that is supposed to track one down for us ;)

Moving on, I was randomly online at 2 in the morning and remembered that I needed to make an order at cdjapan so I could use my 500 yen coupon. I've really been wanting the single from Riku's new band, Chariots. Since Phantasmagoria is no more and <strike>I'm such a Riku fangirl,</strike> I've really been looking forward to it. Along with that, I ordered the Mix Speaker's,Inc. Christmas single and a magazine, featuring them in it. I love Mix Speaker's so much <333 They have this cute monster theme going on XDD Also, it might be interesting to note the Seek and Aya from Psycho le Cemu are in this band. Check them out if you haven't done so already:
MySpace
OHP

Oh and I have another cdjapan order coming soon: Fool's Mate booklet with Merry and the new Abingdon Boys School single, BLADE CHORD :DD And of course, a new magazine with Merry in it means new pictures for my Merry gallery ^O^

Music Meme 2

Comment on this post and I'll give you a band. Don't worry, I'll make it one you know and love. You put your ten favourite songs by that band on your LJ and challenge others to do the same.

I got this again from kuroigunman so if you didn't do it the first time I posted this meme or if you want to do it again, leave a comment ^^

So this time I'm doing RENTRER EN SOI :DD I'm really excited because ihain and toukohater have already done this band and it'll be fun to compare answers ;D I have to admit I'm a little tired today so my descriptions might not be very detailed.

PROTOPLASM - Without a doubt, my favorite song of theirs :D This song made me love this band <3 Epic and powerful, this song will not be denied XD

Karasu Iro no Taiji - This song is beautiful, not too slow and not too fast, and is my second favorite song of theirs. This song reminds me of my husband because of the title. He uses the name Karasu around the internets XD I remember hearing it for the first time while he was gone last month and it made me feel so much better <333

JUST MAD PAIN - This song is heavy and in your face yet pretty at the same time. Please don't take this next statement too seriously hehe The title always makes me laugh because I want to put a "yo" at the end of it. It's just mad pain yo!!! Because I'm ghetto like that XDD

Shinwa - Both versions of this song are pure love <3 I think I tend to favor the single version but the version on The bottom of chaos will make you cry. Beautiful vocals too.

Binetsuka de shajitsu shita shinso wa atesaki fumei no tegami to naru - Aside from having one of the longest song titles in history, this song is so good! It's a lovely, emotional song. Again, another one of those that makes you want to cry. Also, this song has a special meaning for me since toukohater uploaded it for me, beginning my obsession with ReS XD

Re-birth - Ok now I have to go and get old school lol I LOVE this song!!! I love everything about it from it's heavy VK sound to its cheesy PV (cmon you know it is) I also love the low budget quality it has to its sound. Just a good indie Visual Kei song :D

Mizu Yumemiru Chouchou - Definitely a favorite, its one of the ones I listen to the most. It has a familiarity to it that I can never place but always makes me happy ^^

Hoshikuzu no Rasen - Another song with a classic VK sound, this one I always enjoy. You cannot deny Satsuki's voice and the overall melody on this song. Very catchy ^^;

THE ABYSS OF DESPAIR - I almost didn't put this one on here and then I asked myself what are you thinking??? This song kicks all kinds of ass and doesn't apologize afterwards O_O;

I hate myself and want to . . . - Want to what? Want to eat a cookie? Want to have my binky and a nap? It's fun to fill in the blank XDD Seriously, this song is brutal. Everything from the music, to the vocals, to the lyrics are hardcore. I like the way it gets nice at the end and then switches back to being heavy and screamy again. Love this song!

OMFG!!! The new Merry album has arrived :DDD I'm listening to it and it's AMAZING. I actually have no words that do it justice. How does a band continue to re-invent themselves without losing their signature sound and manage to get it right? Not many can pull it off but Merry just doesn't disappoint me. Even though the songs sound quite a bit different from their previous album, they constantly give me something new to love.

Including this one, I know my last two posts have been about Merry so sorry to all that are tired of hearing about them. But there's a new Merry album, a new tour, and a new DVD on the way in December and I'm not about to stop fangirling yet XDDDDDDDD

Oh and before I forget, I'm sooooo happy I ordered from HMV because I got these lovely postcards of all 5 members ^^ Those will be up in the Merry gallery soon ;D

Comment on this post and I'll give you a band. Don't worry, I'll make it one you know and love. You put your ten favourite songs by that band on your LJ and challenge others to do the same.

So I found this on ihain's journal and I got Merry (after a not so subtle hint) XDD

Wow! Ten favorite songs. This is harder than it looks >.>

Ringo to uso [PEEP SHOW album] - This is ultimately my favorite Merry song. It's raw and full of emotion but it's hopeful. I've actually used this song to describe myself. It gets me through any type of day, whether it's good or bad.

CALLing [CALLing single] - This was the first single I actually bought. I've only been listening to them for a year so I've been trying to play catch-up with their releases. Anyway, this song had me from hello. Was that awful? XD It has so much meaning that it nearly makes me cry every time I hear it. Again, very emotional vocals, heart-wrenching lyrics, and great melody. It's not something I can listen to everyday but it remains one of my favorites.

T.O.P. [MODERN GARDE album] - Songs do not get much better than this! Fast paced, screaming mixed with Gara's undeniable singing voice, and an awesome chorus, this song ROCKS XDD

SENTIMENTAL NEW POP [Sayonara rain single] - I don't know what to say about this song except that it pwns. Period. Oh and I love listening to it in the car XD

Violet Harenchi [Haikarasan ga tooru~bronze version single] - This song is Gara at his craziest. Seriously, the man is insane XDD Unbelievable song, unbelievable pv, you can't go wrong with this one. This is one of those "I just wanna rock out" songs that makes you want to shake violently and do headstands ;D Watch it here.

Mousou rendez-vous [PEEP SHOW] - This song is so good, it's almost too good. I think this is one of those songs that almost everybody likes. It's just that type of song that hooks you from the beginning and doesn't let go XD Everything in this song comes together to perfection.

Dekiai no suisou [nu chemical rhetoric album] - I found this song on Limewire of all places and was instantly addicted. It's jazzy, it's upbeat, and of course it RAWKS :P Seriously, this song is awesome! I love the vocals, love the music, and the pv is pretty interesting too. Watch.

Hi no ataranai basho [Gendai Stoic album] - Omg I love this song!!! One of my firsts and it's just straight up old school Merry. Classic sound, classic vocals. In my opinion, it defines their sound. There's also a very cool remix on the CALLing single, done with Balzac :D

Charlie [Komorebi ga Boku wo Sagashiteru - Type 1 single] - Brand new song from recent single. I fell in love with it instantly <3 It's one of the best songs I've ever heard. This song is so fast and the drums are just amazing! And the breakdown in the middle is pure genius.

Japanese Modernist [MODERN GARDE album] - If it isn't already, this should be Merry's anthem. Everyone goes crazy when they hear this song. One of their most popular ones, it just can't be beat. Watch it live.

Last I checked, I'm still here although I kinda feel like I've been beaten. I am completely exhausted and a little sick on top of that. I've had one of the craziest weeks ever. Lots of good and bad things have happened but I really can't complain.

Mostly, what I want to focus on are the positive things happening in my life. So as I said in my previous post, I am moving to Japan. Actually I should say we, since it's not just me that's moving there ^_^ It's something that we've wanted for a long time. We've said goodbye to countless friends and neighbors and watched as our street has almost emptied from all the people moving. Watching and waiting and, finally, it's our turn. The fact that we worked really hard for this and didn't give up is a very rewarding feeling.

Now for the specific details: The reason why we get an opportunity like this is because my husband is in the Air Force. One good thing about the military is you get the chance to live in different parts of the world. Along with England and Germany, Japan was at the top of our list of places we wanted to be. So Japan was picked for us and we are on our way to Misawa Air Base in the north. It's pretty far from Tokyo but that's not a big deal considering the train is right there. I'm sure that will be a bit expensive but it's worth it.
Wow! I didn't expect to write this much but I feel like I could write forever about this :D

So happy birthday to me??? Well I wouldn't say I'm thrilled about it but I'm not really having a bad day either. Other than cdjapan emailing me with a delay in the new D'espairsRay dvd, it's been an ok day. I got a package from my mom and cards so that was nice. Basically I'm just having a peaceful, quiet day doing nothing :P

I suppose being on this earth for this long is somewhat of an accomplishment. At least I have that going for me, right? I think I'm starting to sound like an old, ugly cow O_O Well this cow is going to enjoy the rest of her birthday even if she has to force feed cake down her throat haha

Kibouya Honpo new singles!

Once again, I have goodies to share :D This time I have Kibouya Honpo's two simultaneously released singles, Elec Tosui and Analo Gunso. Kibouya Honpo was formed by the remaining members of Himitsu Kessha Codomo A after the controversy that surrounded them earlier this year. Go here to learn more about that.

Since I forgot to do this last time, I thought I'd better make some RULES:
1)All files are for sampling purposes only.
Well, I haven't posted here in about a week so I thought it's time for an update. My recent order from cdjapan has shipped and it happens to be the two new singles from the Undercode band, Kibouya Honpo. For those that don't already know this, they're made up of former members of himitsu kessha codomo A. This is an awesome band with lots of energy and fast paced songs. And, of course, I'll be sharing :D

Ok here it is: my first sharing entry in this journal. So I guess you might want to know who Balzac is. Technically, they are a Japanese punk rock band with a dark, horror theme. However, I don't think that description does them justice. Balzac blends punk, industrial, and even pop into their tales of terror. Also, it's interesting to note that they've toured with MUCC and Merry and consider them friends.

Balzac - DeepBlue: Chaos From Darkism[2007.07.31]

Link:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/sl9ncj

OHP(Japan): http://www.samuraifactory.com/balzac

OHP(US): http://www.balzac308.com

I was reading my first post and it reminded me of why I'm here in the first place, which is music. To share, to take, and most of all to enjoy! While I'm nowhere near ready to compile a playlist, I'm thinking about doing something a little different around here. I've been considering sharing more music on my journal. So I think I'll start uploading more of the albums/singles that I buy, especially if it's something that's more underground and not well-known. It's not a rotation or anything like that. I'll just post what I think needs to be introduced to more people. There are alot of bands that I feel are neglected so it's time to give them more love <3

I'll update soon with a new goodie for all ^_^

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Abingdon Boys School have announced the release of their first album and, of course, I've already pre-ordered it. I don't waste any time, do I? So I'm very happy about that. I love this band so much and, not only will the awesome cover of Buck-Tick's Dress be on it, it'll also include new songs. Can't wait to hear the new material as I'm sure it'll be amazing!

Now for my rant:
You know, I'm kinda bothered by people who get on forums and bash threads for bands. Obviously, those threads were made by fans for fans and, while an intelligent discussion or even debate is more than welcome, just flat-out rudeness is not. What's the point of even commenting if that's all you have to say? Say something thought-provoking, something articulate, make a case for your argument but don't just post stupid shit D: It's really irritating.

I just kinda went off there haha

Ahhhh LJ says I haven't updated in a week and what a week it's been. My time on the internet has been seriously limited so I really haven't had time. Not that anyone reads this anyway :P

Well I'm really looking forward to the release of the new Merry single in August. And I certainly didn't order all three versions. Nope, not me hehe In the meantime, I have ordered NuChemical Rhetoric. I have that album downloaded on my computer but to actually own it is going to be awesome XD

Well I'm back and, uh, not so bitchy hehe Truth is, I am feeling better for many reasons. One of those reasons is receiving many new things in the mail XD

YAY! My cdjapan order has arrived which included the new single from Sugar, the new Duel Jewel single, and my long-anticipated Nephilim single from Abingdon Boys School. Ooh and they all came with such sweet goodies too! Duel Jewel came with a glorious poster (which I almost tore while opening it), Sugar came with an unbelievably sexy pv, and A.B.S. came with an adorable student pocket book. How fun is that? I love it <3

And everything is sunshine and roses again lol

And yet another order has arrived from Japan. Jeez, why did everything have to be released in July O___O

Anyway, I am now the proud owner of Kaya's new mini-album and Blood's new album which came with a delightful dvd. Oh, that thing is fun but more on that later. I am very happy that I received these cds but I'm still waiting on one more order. I really hope that it is here by the end of the week. I'm in a weird mood, kinda happy and kinda not. I've been sick so I feel like crap but I'm getting better. I'm annoyed, stressed out, aggrivated, and just generally upset over some things. I feel kinda silly about it but if you're bothered by something, then it's on your mind. So I suppose I have some things I need to think about. And solutions that I need to work on.

YAY!!! My amazon order arrived yesterday, and not only did I get the Abingdon Boys School singles, Howling was first press ^^
I had also ordered BABYLON - Clan Gene with this order. Clan Gene is a pretty rare item so I really lucked out. Little did I know just how lucky I was. I thought it was just a cd but, much to my surprise, it came with a DVD ^o^ I didn't breathe for like a couple of minutes and then I opened it and confirmed that it was indeed a cd/dvd and it's oh so wonderful! Misa is awesome as always and Takuma......sweet Takuma. Well let's just say that he's as lovely as ever ;)

Yesterday, I ordered two Abingdon Boys School singles (INNOCENT SORROW and Howling) from amazon.jp. Nephilim has been on pre-order for a while now and it's only taking so long to get here because one of the other cds I ordered with it hasn't come in yet. But the amazon order should ship immediately, considering everything is in stock. No shipping confirmation yet though. Everyone's taking too long. I'm pissed D :
I want my stuff NOW!
I've been on a serious ABS kick lately. Ever since that LiveEarth performance, I can't get enough of them. Well actually I've never been able to get enough of them since I first heard them. I saw them (or rather I heard them) on Cinematech, on this cable channel called G4. It was a clip from "FolksSoul - Ushinawareta Densho" and, of course, Nephilim was playing. I screamed like any good fangirl should XD

Introduction

This is my first post which has been put off for too long. First I just want to say that I'm completely new at this so I guess I'm going to learn everything real fast. So this is just a little introduction to why I joined lj in the first place.

I joined lj mostly to join and participate in communities. There's lots of good music to be found out there and I have lots of good music that I want to share. Eventually, I suppose I could update this thing with a playlist but I'm just starting so bear with me ok? I'm looking forward to learning more and making this place look pretty XD Also I'm looking forward to meeting new people and sharing with all of you ^___^

All are welcome here and I promise to make it more interesting. And, to anyone who might be reading this, I hope I haven't bored you too much!
